Your photos deserve no less. Every Printkind canvas is printing with Epson’s premium matte canvas, which has a consistent poly-cotton blend – no additives or agents. The result of this is a vivid high quality canvas that will last for a lifetime. Don’t just take our word for it, compare our canvas prints with other companies and see for yourself!
Choices
Choose the wrap option that you like best for your work. Select your canvas size from a huge variety of choices – if we don’t have it, let us know and we can do a custom size just for you! Also, choose what finish you want – matte, satin or glossy, simply just put which varnish finish you want in the comments box when making an order. By default we spray our prints with Satin – the perfect choice for any canvas print.
With Printkind, the choices are yours to choose, and the customization possibilities are endless.
We protect your print
Every canvas print we make for you is treated with Lumina Aquacryl or Glamour II varnishes. This ensures that your print will never flake, fade, yellow or bubble.
Free digital proofs
Free digital proofs of your photo to canvas print (sent by email), to show you what the final print will look like after you choose any of our image-tuning services. In addition this proof will show what the wrap effect you chose will look like. No surprises and great results every time. Please note that we will not send a digital proof unless you select one of our image-tuning services or if you specify that you want to see the wrap effect on your image in the comment box on the order form.
Options
Canvas Wrapping – Choices Choices Choices.
A canvas wrap is how your canvas is stretched and wrapped around the wooden frame. You have 4 different options: gallery wrap, mirror wrap, white edge and black. While white and black edge is simply that the sides of your canvas print are white or black, the gallery and mirror wrap options require a bit more explanation.
Gallery wrap
This is when the image folds around the edges. This the most popular way of wrapping a canvas. If you intend to choose gallery wrap, please read the section “Don’t crop the photo too closely” below.

When not to use gallery wrap
Don’t use gallery wrap when the main subject of the image is near the edge, as the area near the edge will be displayed on the side of the canvas.
Mirror wrap
This is our favorite wrapping option at Printkind. This is when the edge section is mirrored on the sides – It’s a great option to choose if you want the gallery wrap appearance without losing any of the image from the front. If you intend to choose mirror wrap, please read the section “Don’t crop the photo too closely” below.

When to use mirror wrap
Use mirror wrap when you would like a gallery wrap appearance without losing any of the image from the front of the canvas. In the example below everything in the picture will be displayed on the front of the canvas print, and at the same time it will have the gallery wrap appearance as the area marked with purple will be mirrored and displayed on the sides.
Don’t crop the image too close
If the main focus of the photo is too close to the edge, the side of the canvas print can look messy.
To calculate how much of your image is going to be affected by gallery/mirror wrap, use either the formula below or the simple rule of thumb: A 1″ wide strip all around the image is needed for the gallery/mirror wrap with the standard 0.75″ frame and 2″ for the 2″ frame.
Example; if you are viewing the photo on your computer screen and it is displayed as 20 x 20 inches on the screen, then a 1″ (for the standard frame size) strip all around the photo will either be used to wrap around the edges of the frame (gallery wrap) or be mirrored and displayed on the side of the canvas print.
Please do not resize your photos for us!
We recommend sending the full resolution image that is not resized in anyway. We have professional software that will do all the upscaling & optimal adjustments (for larger prints) for you!
Don’t worry, if we receive an order that we think will not look very good with the wrapping option chosen by you or if we think the image isn’t large enough for the print size you selected, then we will contact you before proceeding with the printing process. Don’t hesitate contacting us if you there is something that is unclear to you. We’re happy to help!
